Local Action Group
The GAL Etna is a limited liability consortium company born with the mission of promoting sustainable and inclusive development of the communities in the Etna area, enhancing in particular the natural, agricultural, cultural and economic resources of the territory. Through thematic calls, public funds and targeted initiatives, it supports rural businesses, quality tourism and local craftsmanship, encouraging entrepreneurship and landscape protection, particularly rich and varied thanks to the presence of the active volcano and its environments. The GAL acts in close collaboration with local administrations, associations and citizens, promoting a model of cooperation that combines innovation and tradition, digitalization and community participation, aimed at generating new job opportunities and strengthening the identity and well-being of the Etna area.
