Local Action Group
The GAL Tirreno Eolie is a public-private partnership born with the aim of promoting integrated and sustainable development along the coastal stretch that connects the municipalities of the Tyrrhenian mainland and the Aeolian Islands. Through a participatory strategy, the GAL supports a harmonious enhancement of marine, agricultural, cultural, and landscape resources, promoting fishing supply chains, agritourism, and authentic tourism. It offers territorial animation services and technical support to facilitate access to funding and the start-up of entrepreneurial initiatives, with a special focus on island communities. Its action aims to strengthen local identity through cooperation between institutions, businesses, associations, and citizens, creating new job opportunities, especially for young people, and improving quality of life while respecting the environment and traditions. The project acts as a bridge between sea and land, with the aim of promoting a model of balanced growth based on sustainability, culture, and socioeconomic development in coastal and island territories.
