Association
Assohotel, whose full name is the Italian Hotel Entrepreneurs Association, is the trade association representing hospitality industry entrepreneurs registered with Confesercenti. It is an autonomous, independent, non-profit organization, not tied to political parties.
Assohotel's national headquarters is located in Rome, but the association is present throughout Italy with regional, provincial, and local offices.
Its main activities include:
Protection and organization: Supports and protects Italian hotel businesses, representing them before national and European institutions such as the European Union, the Government, the Department of Tourism, and ENIT.
Promotion: Works to improve the image of Italian hotel businesses both in Italy and abroad.
Collective bargaining: Represents businesses in negotiations for the renewal of National Collective Bargaining Agreements (CCNL) for hotel employees.
Business services: Promotes the provision of useful services to member companies.
