Aidit

AIDIT (Italian Association of Tourist Distribution) is the association representing companies operating in the travel agency sector. Founded in 2018, AIDIT is a member of Federturismo Confindustria, the federation representing the entire tourism industry in Italy.

The association is committed to consolidating a modern and inclusive business culture, encouraging the democratic participation of entrepreneurs and protecting the interests of travel agencies towards institutions, public administrations, and other organizations.

AIDIT offers its members various services, including:

Trade union, political, and economic representation and protection.

Collective bargaining support.

Consulting and assistance in relevant thematic areas.

Promotion of growth and enhancement of the role of travel agents.

Participation in trade fairs and promotional events.

Activation of networks, synergies, and exchange of experiences between companies.

The organization relies on a structured structure consisting of regional presidents and specific thematic committees (e.g., School Tourism, Business Travel).

During the Covid-19 pandemic, AIDIT stood out for its initiatives supporting the sector, submitting proposals and requests to the government for economic support measures, safety nets, and urgent reforms aimed at revitalizing tourism and travel agencies in Italy.
