Sposarsi a Castelbuono

"Getting Married in Castelbuono" is an initiative promoted by the Culture and Tourism Office of the Municipality of Castelbuono (Metropolitan City of Palermo), designed to promote the area as a premier wedding destination. The project aims to offer couples a comprehensive and integrated service for all the local services needed to organize their wedding day, transforming the wedding into an authentic experience immersed in the Madonie landscape.

Castelbuono is a medieval village in the heart of the Madonie Park in northern Sicily, known for its historic architecture—from the Ventimiglia Castle to the Matrice Vecchia—for its food and wine traditions, and for its captivating natural setting, dotted with woods, rural districts, and breathtaking views.

The project is characterized by the widespread involvement of Castelbuono's entire business and professional community. Places of worship and ceremony locations, including historic churches, monumental spaces, and natural sites, are participating, along with accommodations such as hotels, agritourisms, relais, and farmhouses for the reception and guest accommodations. The network also includes restaurants, pastry shops, bars, and catering services, supported by image professionals such as photographers, videographers, hairdressers, beauticians, and wedding dress designers. The offering is rounded out by entertainment providers, musicians, entertainers, bomb disposal experts, transportation operators for the bride and groom and guests, flower growers for the decorations, artisans and retailers for wedding favors, wedding registries and jewelry, printers, wedding planners, and vacation homes for guests.

"Getting Married in Castelbuono" represents a virtuous example of local marketing that combines cultural identity, scenic beauty, and local craftsmanship in a dedicated tourism offering. The project strengthens the village's vocation as a slow tourism destination and helps deseasonalise tourist flows, enhancing the community's entire economic ecosystem.
