The Passo dell'Olmo Mill, in the Santa Domenica Vittoria area, is a significant testament to the rural culture of the Nebrodi Mountains and the ancient activities associated with grain processing. Built in the second half of the 19th century, it harnessed the energy of the Favoscuro stream to power the milling process. Nestled in a particularly valuable environmental setting, amidst wooded areas and mountain landscapes, the mill long played a central role in the economic and social life of the community. Today, although no longer operational, it retains significant historical value and represents a significant element in the protection and promotion of local traditions.
