The Church of Sant'Antonio Martire stands on a hill in the upper part of Castelbuono and is one of the town's main religious buildings. Elevated to parish status in 1957, it features a single nave and preserves important artistic elements from ancient religious complexes, including Gothic columns and a 14th-century portal. The church, remodeled during the 20th century, also houses works of great devotional value, such as the wooden crucifix attributed to Fra' Umile da Petralia, an expression of the artistic and religious tradition of the Madonie mountains.
