The Guttuso Museum in Bagheria, located in Villa Cattolica, is one of Sicily's leading museums of modern and contemporary art. Founded following the donation of Renato Guttuso's works to his hometown, the museum houses a vast collection spanning the artist's entire career, along with works by other leading figures of the 20th century.
The exhibition includes paintings, drawings, and sculptures, alongside sections dedicated to contemporary art, ethnography, and local history. The building itself, an 18th-century villa overlooking the Bagheria landscape, helps make the visit an immersive experience of art, history, and Sicilian identity.
