Museo civico "Don Giuseppe Guarnieri"

The "Don Giuseppe Guarnieri" Civic Museum in Caltavuturo is housed in the former Convent of San Francesco and is an important cultural center dedicated to promoting the history and traditions of the Madonie region. Opened in 2007, the museum is named after the priest Giuseppe Guarnieri, a local scholar who significantly contributed to the rediscovery of the area's archaeological heritage.

The exhibition is divided into various sections, including archaeological finds, numismatic collections, sacred art, geological materials, and a rich collection of Sicilian puppet theater. Through these exhibits, the museum offers a comprehensive overview of the historical, artistic, and cultural identity of Caltavuturo and its surrounding area.
