Antiquarium della Malophoros - Parco archeologico

The Sanctuary of Demeter Malophoros is located within the Selinunte Archaeological Park, on the western side of the Gàggera hill. The site can be reached from the park's main entrance, located in Marinella di Selinunte, by walking along the internal paths or using the available transport links. The sanctuary, dedicated to the goddess Demeter, is one of the most important places of worship in the ancient Greek colony and testifies to the centrality of fertility and agricultural rites in the Selinunte civilization.
