Museo civico selinuntino - Rete Museale Belicina

The Selinuntine Civic Museum in Castelvetrano is an important cultural institution housing numerous artifacts from the ancient Greek city of Selinunte. Located in the historic center, inside Palazzo Majo, the museum houses archaeological finds of great value, including the Ephebe of Selinunte, a famous bronze statue from the 5th century BC. The exhibition also includes ceramics, coins, and inscriptions that reconstruct the history of the Greek colony and the civilization that inhabited the area. The museum also plays a key role in promoting and disseminating the archaeological heritage of the Belice Valley.
