Museo diocesano

The Diocesan Museum of Catania, inaugurated in 2003, is housed in the Archbishop's Palace, next to the Cathedral of Sant'Agata. The museum houses a rich collection of artworks, liturgical furnishings, silverware, paintings, sculptures, illuminated manuscripts, and sacred vestments from the churches of the Archdiocese, offering a journey through the religious, artistic, and cultural history of the area. The visit is completed by the charming panoramic terraces, which offer splendid views of Piazza Duomo and Catania's historic center.
