Antiquarium Favignana (ex stab. Florio)

The Favignana Antiquarium, housed in the former Florio factory, exhibits archaeological finds from the Aegadian Islands, which tell the story of the region from prehistoric times to the Roman era. Special attention is given to materials related to the Battle of the Aegadian Islands in 241 BC, including naval rams and artifacts recovered from the seabed, which testify to one of the most significant events in the history of the ancient Mediterranean.
