Scenica festival

Scenica is a cultural project dedicated to contemporary performing arts, conceived as a place for encounter, experimentation, and education. Born in 2009 as a pilot initiative, it has over time become a leading event attracting companies and artists from various European backgrounds to Sicily. The program stands out for the variety of languages offered—from theater to contemporary circus, from music to dance, to performances and workshops—with a constant focus on artistic research and new forms of expression. Over the years, the festival has expanded its offerings, consolidating audience participation and enhancing the quality of its productions. The initiative is supported by local authorities and public institutions, including the Municipality of Vittoria, the Libero Consorzio Comunale di Ragusa, the Sicilian Region, and the Ministry of Culture. Since 2023, the Raccordi section has been added, created thanks to the contribution of the 8×1000 of the Waldensian Church and SAI projects, with the aim of promoting inclusion and dialogue through the arts.
