EYEXEI

EYEXEI 2026 is an event dedicated to theater and the promotion of Sicilian cultural heritage, taking place in the evocative settings of the Ancient Theater of Morgantina, in Aidone, and the Villa Romana del Casale in Piazza Armerina. The initiative aims to combine the enjoyment of archaeological sites with performances inspired by classical tradition, creating a dialogue between history, art, and the region. The program features performances of works drawn from the great drama and literature of ancient Greece, including The Trojan Women, Prometheus, and the Odyssey. Through these performances, the festival offers audiences the opportunity to rediscover universal and timeless themes, immersed in contexts of extraordinary historical and landscape value. EYEXEI thus confirms its position as an important cultural event capable of promoting and highlighting two of the most significant archaeological sites in the Sicilian hinterland.
