Etna Comics

Etna Comics 2025 transforms Catania into a vibrant pop universe from Friday, May 30th to Monday, June 2nd at LeCiminiere. In this thirteenth edition, the festival celebrates art and popular culture with a poster designed by Igort in homage to the master Franco Battiato, inspiring a dreamlike and creative atmosphere.

Inside the pavilions and outdoor spaces, a kaleidoscope of offerings unfolds: comics, manga, illustrations, board games, and video games blend with cosplay contests, gaming tournaments, and workshops. Scientists, creatives, enthusiasts, and families will find expressive avenues and entertainment designed for all ages and interests.

Guests include iconic international comic book artists and artists, voice actors, and successful streamers, but the festival also dedicates space to social and environmental reflections. Thanks to talks with prominent figures from various fields—from green culture to fantasy literature—Etna Comics also becomes a place for discussion and inspiration.

The evenings come alive with concerts and live performances that encompass Italian hits and anime theme songs, while areas dedicated to family and health prevention enrich the festival's offerings, making it a welcoming and comprehensive experience.

With hundreds of stands, themed exhibitions, and an ever-growing audience (over 100,000 visitors at the last edition), EtnaComics 2025 confirms its position as the beating heart of pop culture in Southern Italy, bringing innovation, entertainment, and passion to Catania.
