The Gattopardo Festival celebrates Lampedusa’s legacy with a three-day cultural event in Santa Margherita di Belìce, featuring literary talks, film, and food. On August 2, the prestigious Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa Literary Prize is awarded—this year to Alberto Anile and Maria Gabriella Giannice for Operazione Gattopardo. Hosted by Nino Graziano Luca and featuring special guests like Violante Placido, Tom Shankland, Roberta Procida, and tenor Piero Mazzocchetti.
