Celebrating its eleventh edition in 2025, the festival unfolds over several evenings from late July to early August in the atmospheric Piazza Torre overlooking the sea. The event aims to foster reading and cultural conversation by featuring Italian contemporary authors, journalists, and storytellers connected to Sicily and the Mediterranean. Each evening includes book presentations, readings, author conversations moderated in an engaging format with audience participation. The ambiance is informal yet deeply resonant, inviting attendees of all ages to engage with writers in a setting bathed in sea breeze and twilight. Libri d’aMare stands out for its strong connection to the locale, its celebration of Sicilian literary culture, and its transformation of a seaside village into a space of encounter, exchange, and reflection.
