The Città Teatro Association, active in Catania since March 29, 1989, promotes theatrical culture through a wide range of activities: productions of plays, dance theater, musicals, and children's theater; organization of festivals featuring major names in the national theater scene; seminars, workshops, and cultural meetings; and multidisciplinary festivals in historic and evocative settings.
In the 2021–2022 cycle, the project aims to fund theatrical productions curated by the association, with a financial goal of €30,000. The funds raised will be used to create shows that combine creativity, education, and entertainment, promoting community participation and enhancing the city's cultural heritage.
The planned productions include festivals, events for children and young people, drama and dance performances, and training activities for young artists and cultural professionals. The emphasis is on accessibility, artistic education, and social cohesion, ensuring a direct dialogue between art and the public.
Through this initiative, the Association strengthens its role as a cultural driving force in the region: by supporting creativity, offering training and entertainment, and enhancing the city's theatrical heritage, it helps make culture a tool for inclusion and collective growth.
