Associazione Sicilia Teatro, based in Floridia, is a theater production company established in 1987 and recognized as the leading private theater company in Sicily. Over thirty years of activity, the company has earned a prominent national reputation, staging both classical and contemporary works. Its productions have featured major international authors such as Shakespeare, Pirandello, Rostand, and Arthur Miller, alongside modern and contemporary Italian writers. Its mission has always been to offer quality theater, capable of reaching audiences of all backgrounds and backgrounds, while maintaining an inclusive and open approach.
The project "Promoting Sicilian Culture through Support for the Production and Distribution of Luigi Pirandello's Henry IV" reflects this artistic vision. The production, directed by Yannis Kokkos with the participation of Sebastiano Lo Monaco, aims to enhance Sicily's cultural heritage and spread the dramatic power of one of Pirandello's most famous works beyond regional and national borders.
The budget plan estimates a total cost of €80,000, a significant portion of which has already been raised and used. Fundraising is currently closed and the project is in the implementation phase, with production activities already underway.
