Cantina Sperimentale Iblea – Cultural and Artistic Center was founded on April 24, 2012 in Noto. Today, it has consolidated experience and expertise in social and cultural promotion, particularly in live performance. It is responsible for the creation of the Codex Festival in Noto, aimed at promoting contemporary and multidisciplinary culture. To date, it has held 12 editions, the first in 2013. Numerous artistic productions have been produced over the years: theatrical productions, films, musical projects, exhibitions, documentary films, and short films. It maintains a close collaboration with the Municipality of Noto and the Tina Di Lorenzo Theater Foundation of Noto. Over the years, it has collaborated with leading cultural institutions, including the Universities of Catania and Messina, the Institute of Ancient Drama of Syracuse, the Teatro Stabile of Catania, Ravenna Teatro, and others. It has received and carefully and skillfully managed public funding from municipalities, the Sicilian Region, and the Ministry of Culture.
