The Glenn Gould ETS Association, based in Castelbuono (PA), is a non-profit organization established since 2001 and recognized as a Third Sector organization since 2024. Its mission is to promote culture, music, art, and sustainable development in the Madonie region, enhancing Sicily's cultural heritage. Its core activity is the renowned Ypsigrock Festival, an international indie event held annually in Castelbuono, with a unique identity and strong local roots.
The current fundraising campaign is for the 2025 Ypsigrock Festival, with an estimated cost of €14,000. The project is currently underway and represents an opportunity to contribute to the organization of the next edition of the festival.
The association places great emphasis on inclusion, promoted through the "Tutti Inclusi" project, which ensures accessibility for all spectators, thanks to barrier-free services, assistance, and mobility tools.
Over the years, other innovative projects have emerged: SMA! (Small Festivals Accelerator), dedicated to supporting and cooperating with independent festivals; SAFEPLACE, an international initiative co-funded by Erasmus+, which promotes safer, more equitable, and more inclusive cultural events. Added to this is "Orbita – e Tu splendi," a Ypsigrock satellite format offering accessible events in historic and evocative locations.
In short, the Glenn Gould ETS Association combines cultural dissemination, social inclusiveness, territorial development, and innovation in the indie festival sector, making the "Ypsigrock Festival" not just a musical event, but a gateway to an authentic, welcoming, and culturally vibrant Sicily.
