Association
The Borghi più Belli d’Italia is an association founded in 2002 within the Tourism Council of ANCI with the aim of enhancing and promoting Italy’s small towns of historical, artistic, cultural, and scenic value. The network includes over 360 carefully selected villages, recognized for their beauty, authenticity, and quality of life.
The association supports the protection of local heritage, encourages the sustainable development of these territories, and promotes the touristic appeal of the villages through cultural initiatives, events, and promotional activities.
Membership in the network is granted through a strict selection process based on the “Quality Charter”, which evaluates villages according to historical, architectural, and environmental criteria, with periodic checks to ensure standards are maintained.
