The Trappeto Tower, now part of the Castello Bastione di Capo d'Orlando complex, is a medieval structure located in the Malvicino district.
Probably built in the 14th century, it served as a lookout and coastal defense, as well as monitoring agricultural activities related to the area's oil mills. During the 16th century, it was expanded to become the castle we see today.
Today, it represents a historical testimony to the defense and production system of the Capo d'Orlando area.
