Museo civico

The Castellana Sicula Civic Museum is located in the Muratore district, within an archaeological site of great historical interest. The institution stands in a context that preserves a necropolis with underground tombs carved into the rock, one of which has been integrated directly into the museum building. The museum is divided into two sections, one archaeological and one ethno-anthropological, which display artifacts from local excavations and objects related to local rural life. The exhibition allows visitors to reconstruct the history and traditions of the community, highlighting the cultural and natural heritage of the Madonie Mountains.
