The Round Aeolian Race is an offshore sailing regatta organized by the Yacht Club Capo d'Orlando, taking place between the Sicilian coast and the Aeolian Islands. The approximately 140-mile course passes through all seven islands of the archipelago, starting and finishing in Capo d'Orlando.
The race's unique feature is that crews can choose whether to sail clockwise or counterclockwise, making navigation strategy crucial. The 8th edition will take place in 2026, from September 24th to 27th, combining sport, the sea, and the promotion of the Sicilian region.
