Park

The Madonie Park is a protected natural area located in Sicily, in the northern part of the island, between Palermo and Cefalù. It includes a vast mountainous area rich in biodiversity, historic villages, and sites of geological and cultural interest. The park is known for the presence of over half of Sicily's plant species, including the Nebrodi Fir, and for its spectacular landscapes that range from mountains to hills and the coast. It is part of the UNESCO Global Geoparks Network.
