Local Action Group
The GAL Terre del Nisseno is a local action group that operates in the province of Caltanissetta with the aim of promoting sustainable rural development and enhancing the resources of the territory. Born to promote cohesion between institutions, businesses, and local communities, the GAL is committed to supporting initiatives that encourage quality agriculture, responsible tourism, traditional craftsmanship, and the protection of cultural and environmental heritage. Through projects mainly funded under the Rural Development Program, the GAL works to strengthen local identity, create new job opportunities, and improve the quality of life in inland areas. The territory of Nisseno, rich in history, nature, and traditions, represents the core of the GAL's action, which aims to transform local potential into concrete tools for growth and innovation.
