It is a sparsely urbanized area, not coastal or insular, although the sea is not too far away, as suggested by the name of the agricultural region. Montieri covers an area of 108.20 square kilometers and can boast a significant demographic and environmental heritage with investment potential. As of 2023, the total population is 1176 inhabitants, evenly divided between males and females. Within the residential area, there is a significant community of foreigners, totaling 331 units, a figure that may suggest the existence of social integration and potential flows of international tourism or work. Montieri's housing stock consists of 1548 units, divided between occupied and unoccupied units. The number of unoccupied units (978) is higher than that of occupied units (570), a fact that could encourage investments in the real estate sector, especially considering the attractiveness of the territorial context.
